MS KICK

The Milam Street Kitchen Incubator/Community Kitchen, known as MS KICK, serves as a hybrid space that combines a kitchen incubator with workforce development initiatives in the Allendale/Ledbetter Heights area of the city. This project aims to address urban challenges such as abandonment, decay, poverty, crime, and unemployment by providing affordable workspace, fostering business expansion, encouraging collaboration among like-minded businesses, offering technical assistance for marketing and financial training to culinary entrepreneurs, and creating a communal space through the Community Kitchen's Community Café and Culinary Medicine component. MS KICK strives to promote entrepreneurship and community engagement in the city's oldest inner-city neighborhoods.
